Characteristics
Plant:
Plants tall, erect, medium compact and vigorous. stems
few, thick, colored at base, well developed straight wings.
Foliage:
Dark grey-green. Leaves closed rachis pigmented. Leaflets
ovate-lanceolate, smooth dull surface with entire margin.
Flowers:
White. Profuse Flowering. Anthers lemon-yellow, well
developed, pollen sterile. Stigma round and notched.
Tubers:
White, large, round-oval, smooth skin, fleet eyes
with prominent eyebrows, white flesh.
Sprouts: Beet-root red

Characteristics
Adaptability: Plateau
regions of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
It can be grown both in Kharif and Rabi seasons. It can
build up yields rapidly under warmer climate.

well developed, hight pollen stainability. Stigma round.

White, large, oval, slightly tapered, smooth skin,
fleet eyes, yellow flesh.

General
Description
Maincrop
maturity, with high yields and early bulking. High
resisance to drought and good resistance to potato
virus Y and powdery scab. Suscesptible to potato
cyst nematode and mis-shapes on heavy soils. Moderately
susceptible to spraing and mild mosaic viruses.
Medium dry matter, firm cooked texture, good boiling,
fresh french fry and mashing quality.
Tubers: Oval,
medium to large red skin, light yellow flesh, with
medium eye depth
