Position Title:	Plant Pathology Technician
Reports To:	Production Facility Manager/TECHNITUBER® Production Officer
Location:	Vill-:Manpura, Tehsil-: Nalagarh,
	Distt-: Solan, H.P. , India.
Personnel Reporting to Position:	Supervisors for each microbiological & quarantine areas in Facility.
Position Summary:	Responsible for technical support in microbiological & quarantine laboratory, TECHNITUBER® seed Production Facility.
Key Responsibilities/Authorities:	Sample collection, different types of culture media preparation, isolation and identification of microorganisms from different sources provided by the Facility Manager. Responsible for maintaining the day to day record for certification work. Rigorously maintain adherence to the Biosecurity and Quality Assurance program. Assist the Facility Manager with testing and report preparation of given material, scheduling as required.
Desirable Characteristics:	Enthusiasm for the position and drive for success – professional attitude Communication – spoken, written and listing skills, must include English Organisational skills and good presentation Hands on skills with practical approach and calm attitude in difficult situations
Formal Qualifications Required:	B,Sc/M.Sc in Plant pathology, Microbiology or other Plant based science. Working experience in potato (microbiology) will be given preference. On the job training will be provided
Salary:	Depending on qualifications and experience
